A Fangirl's Pick: Favorite K-Pop Songs in 2025

December 28, 2025

My Favorite K-Pop Songs of 2025 (A Very Biased Fangirl Playlist)

It feels like just yesterday when I was writing about my favorite K-pop songs of 2024, and now I’m back with my favorite K-pop songs of 2025. Time really flies.

Just like last year, this list is very biased. I mostly listen to songs by my favorite groups, so even though a lot of K-pop songs trended on TikTok this year, I didn’t include them here. If I don’t intentionally play a song, it doesn’t make it to my favorites list.

My main criterion is simple:
If the melody sticks with me so much that I keep playing the song on purpose, it earns a spot here.

So here are my favorite K-pop songs of 2025.

DAY6 – Maybe Tomorrow

“Colors” and “Afraid” are still my top DAY6 songs, but “Maybe Tomorrow” quickly became my go-to song this year.

From the moment the title was released, I already knew I would fall in love with it. The melody is exactly my style, and the lyrics? Chef’s kiss. This song feels like my life right now.

Maybe tomorrow, everything will be better.

I’m not sure if it will be but at least there’s hope. And sometimes, that’s enough.

Super Junior – Finale

When Super Junior released their latest album, “Finale” was the song that immediately caught my attention melody-wise.

Hearing it live during SS10 made me love it even more. Naturally, I searched for the lyrics afterward. And of course, it turned out to be another song about life. But this one feels happy, comforting, and quietly inspiring.

It’s the kind of song that reminds you it’s okay to keep going.

SEVENTEEN – HBD

I first heard “HBD” during Burst Stage, and honestly? I liked it more than Thunder.

I even found myself wishing this had been the title track. It’s bright, catchy, and perfect for birthday posts. Which makes it even better. It’s one of those songs that instantly lifts your mood.

SEVENTEEN DK – Happy Virus

As part of SEVENTEEN’s 10th anniversary album, each member released a solo song. And as a very biased fan, I naturally gravitated toward the vocal team (hehe).

Among all their solo tracks, DK’s “Happy Virus” stood out to me the most. The energy, the warmth - it’s pure DK.

I feel incredibly lucky to have heard it live during their _NEW concert in Incheon. That moment alone made the song even more special.

Doyoung – I Find You

“I Find You” is an OST from the K-drama "Bon Appetit, Your Majesty", a drama I genuinely loved. Naturally, I ended up falling in love with the song too.

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve played this track. While I haven’t heard Doyoung sing it live, I did hear Lee Chaemin perform it during his fan meeting in Seoul and that memory is something I’ll always treasure.

Bonus: Jeonghan – Better Half

I’m not entirely sure if this fully counts as K-pop since it has both Japanese and Korean versions but I’m including it anyway.

I first heard the Japanese version, then eventually listened to the Korean one as well. Ever since its release in the first month of 2025, I already knew this song would be special to me.

I even confidently claimed that “Better Half” would be my most-played song of the year and honestly, I wasn’t wrong.

Final Thoughts

These songs may not all be chart-toppers or viral hits, but they’re the ones that stayed with me throughout 2025. Each track connects to a moment, a feeling, or a memory and that’s what makes them my favorites.

If you’re curious about my taste in K-pop or just want songs that feel a little closer to the heart, I hope this list gives you something new to listen to.
