Last January 28, 2022, Netflix released its much-awaited school-zombie themed series, All of Us Are Dead. The hype for zombie-themed series is still high especially when Happiness just ended a month ago. Since I have been looking for dramas that are thrilling and exciting, I am excited to see this series.

All of Us Are Dead Netflix series is actually based on the famous webtoon created by Joo Dong Geun. It is a story about students trying to fight their way out of their school who rapidly got into a zombie virus outbreak.

Of course, with a zombie-themed drama, it really should contain such scenes or else, what's the purpose of it, right? But what I like with these scenes is that the main casts don't just simply run or attack. They think of a plan before making a move. The scenes make me think that if I was in that same situation, what will I do? It's really fun that this series makes us viewers think also.

Although the casts in this series have less resemblance (visually) with the webtoon, I still find them effective. In terms of acting, I like Park Solomon's (Suhyeok), Lim Jaehyuk's (Daesu), and Yoo In Soo's (Gwi Nam) acting the most effective. They played their roles really well which makes me think that they are not acting.

Regarding the two female leads, Park Jihu (Onjo) and Cho Yihyun (Namra), they also did well but I was expecting for more. I don't know what's lacking but in some scenes I don't feel a connection with them.

Among all the female casts, she caught my attention the most. Aside from her bangs, I really love the way she played her role. After watching the series, I realized that she is one of Deok Im's friend in The Red Sleeve. From a sageuk role and to a badass character, she really nailed it.

Plot-wise, I don't think it's not that deep. The story just started with a father who has a son that was bullied and decided to create something that will make him fight the bullies. But it ended up turning his son, and eventually the whole place, into zombies. And it's just a story on how the students fight for their lives.

I was actually expecting more and I could say that I'm a bit disappointed with how it ended. I'm not sure if there'll be a season 2. Although honestly speaking, I don't think there's a need for it.

The series started with the bullies and it really showed how bullying impacts one life. While the breakout is happening, bullying still continue to exist especially during Nayeon's and Gyeongsu's quarrel scene.

The plot also showed the failure of the system. When the Science teacher, Lee Byeongchan, was being questioned the police/detective, we can see that these people first failed Lee Byeongchan which eventually led to him doing such virus. There are actually a lot of good lessons that you can get in this series. It's just that, it was squeezed or maybe they gave more focus on the chasing parts rather than the story itself.

Another thing that I somehow didn't like is, there are too many sacrifices. And because it's too many, I just don't get emotional with those sacrifices anymore. I don't know if it's just me but that's my thought.

For a Netflix series, I'm a bit disappointed with the graphics. I don't know why but unlike other KDramas that I have watched, the computer graphics in this series is a bit off (well in some part). I wish they could have improved how the graphics look like. But I appreciate their effort.

Even though I have a lot of negative comments, I still enjoyed the series because of the thrill that it gave me. Also, one of the reasons why I continue to watch it is because of Park Solomon and Yoon Chanyoung bromance. lol. During the first parts, I really love their connection.

Will I recommend this series? If you're into thrilling series without paying too much attention on the story, well yes. This drama is really exciting. But if you're into the story, I think you should watch Happiness or Kingdom instead.

Another overdue unboxing! I actually received and unboxed this item last 2021 but because I became a little bit busy (?) I wasn't able to edit my unboxing video. Anyway, for today's unboxing it's the SHAX album which consists of Imitation OSTs.

It's actually my first time buying an album from a fictional K-Pop group. I didn't even know albums like these existed. But yeah, I like to compare it with a real K-Pop album.

I barely see albums placed inside a pouch like this. Not actually my cup of tea, but it's cool since I don't need to look for OPP plastics for the album itself. It's cool too since you can somehow reseal it again using that zipper.

Let's go with the keychain first. To be honest, this is one of the reasons why I chose the Withdrama version rather than the Makestar version. The Withdrama has a keychain.

Unlike the real K-Pop albums, the CD was placed on a plastic container (?) I don't know what to call that. It's not placed in an acrylic case. Anyway, as you open it, you can see the CD and beside it is the mini poster / lyric guide.

So, I just realized that Eunjo is not included in this mini poster. Anyway, at the back of that, the lyrics are placed.

Photobook is a bit thin compared to the usual photobooks of K-Pop albums or K-Drama OST albums. But the important thing is that the photos are good. You can check out my unboxing vlog to see the photos.

Just like my Thrill-ing albums, this one has a wristband. Because of this, I miss watching concerts and putting these wristbands especially when you're on the VIP area.

Just like other K-Pop albums, they also have random photocards. This album has three random photocards. I honestly wanted to get a Hwiyoung photocard. Although I didn't get one, at least I got a Jun photocard.

First unboxing post of 2022 - though I have opened this in 2021. I was really busy and I forgot to write about it here on my blog. Anyway, it's not yet too late to post it.

So, I got these albums for a cheaper price through Kormission PH. They are on Twitter and Shopee. Aside from being cheap, I still got the JYP POBs with the random frame photocard. I wasn't able to get the limited version of NoEasy but still I'm happy with the two versions - Standard A (Green) and Standard B (Violet).

When we say POB, it means pre-order benefits. They are either posters, photocards, or postcards. You can only get it during the pre-order period. On the second press of the albums, pre-order benefits are no longer available.

For the NoEasy album, the POBs are the random frame photocard and postcards. I got Hyunjin and I.N black frame photocards for the POB.

These are the photobooks. They have 84-pages each. The design may be the same but the color and the photos inside are different.

The lyric booklet is just the same no matter what version it is. One thing I like about this lyric booklet is that there are also photos of Stray Kids unlike other booklets.

The CD designs are really cool to look at. Since this is a full album, it contains 14 songs.

Good thing I got different version of the stickers because as far as I know the stickers are also random. It's just that these stickers are not the cut (kiss cut). Meaning, if you peel it off everything will be removed, unless you cut it.

The folded poster (or what I call the accordion) is also random. And guess what? I got Seungmin and Han for both versions. It's fun to bring it to the concerts tho because it looks like a banner.

Of course, my favorite inclusion, the photocards. These are random too but I'm so happy with my pulls because I got my biases! Well, my top three is actually Lee Know, Changbin, and Hyunjin. And I got them on my pulls! I am usually not that lucky when it comes to album pulls but recently, I've been getting the positive energy.

Oh, and also, there is a double-sided photocard which I find it really cute! I got Changbin and Felix for the photocards. I'm happy that I didn't get any duplicate photocard.
