I barely stan other groups outside of SM and JYP. Although I have heard of BTOB before because of Yook Sungjae, I still didn't stan them.

Last April 2015, I was able to watch them live during the Best of Best Concert together with Red Velvet, Girls' Generation, and Super Junior which was held at the Philippine Arena. I was pretty impressed with their energetic performance. I started following them but I can't call myself as a "Melody" (fandom name) yet.

On that year, BTOB released a new song entitled "It's Okay". I listened to it and eventually I fell in love with the song. Not only because of their beautiful voices, but also because of the melody and message of the song. Starting then, I became a lowkey fan of BTOB and I'm always looking forward to listening to their songs especially the ballads.

Aside from dancing groups, I was also interested in K-bands. I was a fan of CNBlue and FT Island. To be very honest, I plan on not being a fan of DAY6 because I don't want to add another group on my list. But because I am a JYP stan, and I have been hearing about them since YG's WIN, I watched their first trailer MV and immediately got hooked with it.

Of all the groups I will or have shared in this post, I guess DAY6 is the group I follow the most. Because definitely they do not have any bad songs. There may be some songs that I still need to listen over and over again before I like it, but that doesn't mean that song is not good.

If you're gonna ask me which DAY6 songs will I recommend for you to listen first, maybe I'll go with Congratulations, the song that started all.

I am not a YG stan. My main reason was their kind of music is not my type. Like what I mentioned earlier, even if it's not my type doesn't mean it's a bad song. It's just that I prefer other types or genres of songs.

I have heard about AKMU since they joined K-POP Star. But I was too deep with GOT7 when AKMU debuted so I didn't really care about them before. When the drama "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo" came out, I became a fan of Nam Joo Hyuk and started searching about him. That's when I got into AKMU.

Nam Joo Hyuk was the actor in AKMU's Give Love. When I heard about it, I remembered their time during K-POP Star. I started listening to all of their songs in their album and I love all of their songs. Whenever I feel down and sad, I just put their songs on and I felt a little calmer.

Another duo that I recently checked out. I have been hearing about them in music shows and award shows and I was really curious why they win awards. I saw on Twitter that they have they are strong when it comes to digital. Still, I didn't listen to them.

Suddenly, when I was watching a web drama from Playlist Global, they were there and even their song was featured. When I first heard of it, I knew that this is the type of music I will love to hear always. On that same week, Produce X 101 contestants sang one of their songs, "To My Youth", and I really love it!

I may be late in listening to them, but I know I made the right decision. I am looking forward to more of their songs.
