After Wanna One's last concert in Manila last September 2018, I never thought I'll get the chance to see any members again. For a broke international fan, seeing my favorite idol once is already a blessing. What more if I get to see him more than once, right?

The first time I saw Park Ji Hoon was Wanna One's first fan meeting in Manila. Luckily, I was able to win a hi-touch with them. The second time I saw him was is Malaysia. Well, yeah, I flew all the way to Malaysia to see Wanna One. And the third time was during Wanna One's concert in Manila, like what I said earlier, which happened last September 2018.

I actually did not imagine seeing Park Ji Hoon (or any Wanna One member) again after the last concert. When it was announced that Park Ji Hoon is coming to Manila for his solo fan meeting, I felt frustrated because I badly want to see him again. But I have other priorities (ehem, thesis). But special thanks to kpopchannel.tv and PKCI, I had the chance to meet him again and take good photos of him.

Last March 15, 2019, I managed to see Park Ji Hoon in his solo fan meeting here in Manila. Plus, I also get to attend the press conference. As much as I wanted to be a fangirl during the event, I can't. I was there as a media so I need to do my work.

How does it feel meeting Park Ji Hoon for the 4th time?

To be very honest, I was not as excited as I was during their first fan meeting. Maybe because I am too stressed with my thesis? Or maybe I am just too tired with my whole life. HAHA. But when he went out to meet the media for his press conference, it all sank inside me. I'm meeting Park Ji Hoon and he is just a meter away from me.



One good thing of going solo is that I get to appreciate him even more. He wasn't my bias in Wanna One so I tend to give less attention to him and focus more on my favorite member. Don't get me wrong. I love all the members of Wanna One.

I actually found myself wanting to change my Wanna One bias when I met him for the fourth time. Park Ji Hoon is very kind to everyone. As much as possible, he wanted everyone to be comfortable. Attending the press conference made me realize that there are still a lot of things that I do not know about him. And I'm happy that I get to know him even more.

The Fan Meeting gave me a Nostalgic feeling

Well, at the start of the fan meeting, Park Ji Hoon gave his own cover of Ed Sheeran's Shape of You which reminded me of Produce 101. I started imagining him being a part of Taehyun's group before and not in "Get Ugly" team. Everything would have changed. HAHA.

He even performed his favorite Wanna One songs. I'm actually tearing up a bit during that time since I miss Wanna One. That may be the reason why I got some panic attacks. But anyway, I am just so thankful that he made us remember the Produce 101 and Wanna One days.

What made this Fan Meeting special?

Aside from the fact that it is his solo fan meeting, the special thing that happened was his goodbye session. Who would have thought that his goodbye session will be the same as the ones in other country? That's when I realized that they chose a big venue because of that event.

I felt his sincerity in meeting his fans. He wanted to be closer to everyone. And that made me love him even more.

Another thing that made this fan meeting special is the people around me, fellow media, Mays, Wannables. It was like a reunion. I got to meet new friends too.

I am still hoping I'll get to see other members of Wanna One (and still wishing for a reunion!). I just hope I'll get to have media pass again or have enough money to buy myself a ticket so that I can fangirl all I want!

This blog post might be a little emotional. It won't be all about what happened in the concert but more of what I felt during the concert. To be honest, this is the worst PCD I have ever experienced in my whole life. So are you ready to feel what I felt during Wanna One 'One: The World' in Manila?
September 1, 2018 - It is the date I wanted to come and at the same time the date I am afraid to come. If you have notice in my previous blogs, I have been a fan of Wanna One (Wannable) ever since the start. I have watched Produce 101 Season 2 and waited for their debut. It feels like it was just yesterday when I started watching them on my laptop. But here we are now, on their last stop for the world tour, and maybe my last chance to see them in flesh as a whole group.
Wanna One is just a project group and is not meant to be a permanent group. And that what hurts the most. I have invested a lot of feelings for them and at the end I will just see them being disbanded and go on with their new or old groups. How I wish they were a permanent group.
I went to Malaysia last July 21, 2018 to witness their concert. By then, I no longer have plans on seeing them here in Manila because of money issues. But there is something telling me to go and watch. God made a way for me to watch the said concert. My seat was actually on Lowerbox C Section 218.

Here is my view. To be honest, I'm quite near than expected. I can still clearly see them at the extended stage and main stage. During concerts, I always choose the seated part since I can't stand up for a long time. Although, I feel a little bit disappointed with myself. I hope that I can be like those fans who can stand up for straight 3-4 hours with a lot of people surrounding them.
The concert started at around 7:30pm. PH Wannables became even wilder than usual and those from our section started standing up from their seats. So even if I'm at the seated area, I was still standing.
The moment Wanna One went out of the stage, I became so emotional even if the song is Burn it Up. Well, who wouldn't be? It might be the last time I'll get to see them perform Burn it Up.
As the concert progresses, the more gloomy I feel. I badly want to cry on that same time but I shouldn't and just enjoy the said concert. I already know the line up of the songs since I have watched it in Malaysia. Somehow, I felt like this was my first time seeing them.


What I love in the crowd is their energy which made the boys hyper too. Daehwi even mentioned that we are the loudest crowd who sang with them during Always. PH fans are always loudest fans.
Wanna One didn't fail us when they started talking in Filipino. Well the most memorable for me is when Kuan Lin said, "Baby ko." And my noona heart died. IKAW ANG BEBE KO KUAN LIN! They kept on saying "Mahal ko Kayo" and "Akin ka" which made the crowd even more louder.
At the end of the concert, they kept on saying that they will come back soon. They might come back but not as Wanna One anymore since their contract is about to end.
Bae Jinyoung told us to never forget about them. It made me more emotional. I promise you. I won't.
My heart started to sank down when they had their last bow and went back to the main stage while the LED screen is going down. It's the last.


As I started going out of the concert venue, it all sank down on me. Everything. The concert has finally ended. My tears started to fall. Some of my friends are laughing at me for crying. But, I really can't contain my feelings anymore.
As much as I enjoyed the concert, a part of me isn't because I know it's the end.
But I'm thankful I had the chance to see them for one last time. I am thankful I got to see them three times before disbanding. Although I feel it is still not enough, I am still thankful for every opportunity.

It's almost a month since I went to Malaysia (together with Ms. Jay) to watch Wanna One "One: The World" concert there. I became sick after the travel and I have been busy with my thesis that is why I wasn't able to blog about it right away. But since I am given some extra time today, I am blogging my fangirl experience.
