UNBOXING: SEVENTEEN In The Soop Making Photobook

SEVENTEEN In The Soop has always been my healing show. If I need some rest from all the stress in the world, I would definitely watch In The Soop over and over again. That's why I am so happy that SEVENTEEN's In The Soop is having a second season and it will be out this January 2023. What a good way to start the year indeed.

But before it's second season, I'll be sharing to you the inclusions of the In The Soop Making Photobook. This photobook was released in 2022 and I happened to got mine before the year ends.

Outerbox

This is how the outbox looks like. I like this quality because it's thick. It feels like a hardbound book. Plus the size is just a normal one unlike other photobooks.

Photobook

The photobook consists of 112 pages behind the scenes photos of SEVENTEEN. They also put there their bucket list for this show. To be honest, I'm not a fan of photobooks because I only check it once and put it back on my shelf. But this one is different. I really love seeing raw photos of SEVENTEEN. The ones with no makeup, or "I woke up like this" kind of photos. I really love to see them in that state.

Paper L-Holder

For this L-Holder, it is where they placed the photocards and the mini poster. I don't usually use L-Holders because I don't know what to place in those. So, I'll just let these inclusions stay there, except for the photocards because I plan to put them on my new binder once it arrives.

Mini Poster

At first, I thought these were postcards. But when I was looking at the merch description, they were mini posters. The paper thickness is a bit like the postcards that's why I thought they were postcards. The second mini poster is definitely one of my favorite photo of the boys because Wonwoo is smiling genuinely there.

Photocard Set

This is how the photocards look like. You will be the one to remove these photocards which is a bit hard for me because I might destroy it. I won't be selling any photocards since I really love In The Soop and these photocards will be part of my collection.

Weverse POB

I don't actually know what it's called but this is how the special gift from Weverse shop when you buy this merch during the pre-order period. Right now, I placed this beside my computer to remind myself that I also need rest from time to time.

Best of Best 2022: My Fangirl Review, Highlights, and Goals

It felt like I was just writing my review last 2021 and now I'm already writing for 2022. If 2021 was not a good year, then 2022 would have been worse if not for my favorite KPOP groups. My review for this year will be a different one from my usual reviews. For this blog post, I'll just be writing what's on my mind on what happened this year.

January this year, I resigned from my job. Being lost for months, not knowing where I'll get the money to support my fangirling wants, I decided to open my Shopee store wherein I sold some fanmade merch and some photocards that I want to sell. Who would have thought that this shop can somehow help me with my wants and needs. I was able to buy a new glass and a photocard laminator.

But around May, I got back into freelancing and that allowed me to save more money for concerts and travels. I really can't count how many concerts I had attended this year, both locally and internationally. I'm really so happy that I got to get out of the country again this 2022, plus I also got to travel locally.

Although I was able to physically be present in most events, online, I wasn't able to post much. I have a lot of pending blogs and vlogs that needs to be uploaded but I became so busy I really have no time to do it.

I barely succeeded in doing my goals for 2022. I'm not really disappointed because I know I didn't do my best in doing it. But somehow realized something, that numbers really don't matter. I have to remind myself of that thing always. There are still times that I feel the need to reach a certain amount on social media to be considered a 'good one'. But for this 2023, I'm realigning my motives.

Why am I doing this? Is it to brag? Is it to show everyone that I'm living a good life (when in fact my whole life is a mess)? I have to go back to my 2014 self who just wants to create content because I love doing contents. I want sharing my thoughts and experiences to the world even if the world is not listening. I just want to share that I'm proud of where I am now.

So this 2023, I will no longer set a goal for my social media accounts instead I will just continue posting because I want to post. It's going to be my outlet. No one watches or reads my posts? No problem. I can watch it. I can read it. I won't be pressured to create contents just for the sake of creating it. I will create content because I want to. I still have a lot of things to change in myself in 2023. Slowly, I hope I'll get there.

I still have some goals in life, but I won't be posting it here anymore and just wait for it to happen next year. I'm really claiming that 2023 will be year. Good things, things I prayed for, will come to me without any problem.

Also, more concerts internationally and locally, and more merch this coming 2023!

Fangirl's Pick: Favorite K-Merch of 2022

As a K-Pop fan, collecting merch has been one of my favorite thing to do. Although I tried to pause from buying merch, recently I came back because it gives me so much happiness unboxing the items. It feels like that I rewarded myself for working so hard.

For this blog post, I'm going to share my favorite purchases this 2022.

Carat Bong Version 2

Even before I became a fan of SEVENTEEN, I really loved their lightstick. And who would have thought that I will finally buy one for myself? It's definitely the prettiest lightstick out there. Maybe because it has my favorite colors? This purchase was a bit impulsive but I'm happy I bought it because I was able to use it to a lot of events this year.

I bought this from kpop_merch.ph on Shopee for only P2000. And it's FETA!

I wonder how will the version three looks like. There are some posts on Twitter saying that there will be a version three to be released in 2023.

SEVENTEEN-inspired Face Mask Strap

This one isn't official but I really have used this almost every time I go out. I love the design and it really looks so pretty when you wear it. I'll probably be wearing it as long as I wear my face mask, unless the concert I'm attending is not SEVENTEEN.

SEVENTEEN-inspired Necklaces

To be honest, I don't really like wearing necklaces or jewelries as a whole. My skin easily gets irritated. But what's the reason why I bought these? These two necklaces have their own stories.

The diamond-shaped necklace is a remembrance of my impulsive decision of attending Be The Sun in Thailand. The confetti from the concert is inside that resin necklace. Other PH Carats who also attended there ordered their necklaces.

Meanwhile, the Carat Bong necklace, it's from Tala by Kyla. I also bought this impulsively since I saw it on a bazaar in SMX MOA, a day before Be The Sun in Bulacan. I wasn't able to attend Be The Sun in Bulacan because it was my friend's wedding day. But, my friend Joyce, brought my lightstick to the concert. So, I wore this Carat Bong necklace on the day of the wedding to represent my fangirl heart.

SEVENTEEN In The Soop Making Photobook

This is one of the latest merch that I received this year. Why is this my favorite? It's because it's In The Soop. I really enjoyed watching Seventeen's In The Soop so much that it made me buy the photobook. I'm not really a fan of photobooks but I wanted this so bad.

I'm really excited for January 2023 to come because SEVENTEEN In The Soop 2 is coming!

How much did I spend with merch this year?

That's... a secret. But I spent more than what I spend last year. And the funny thing is I spent it mostly on SEVENTEEN. Unlike last 2021, I bought albums from different groups. I'll still probably collect merch in 2023 as long as I have the money and I like the merch being released. To be more budols this 2023.
